no. The spark gap is supposed to produce radiant energy waves of greater energy that are picked up by the heatsink (wich is a poor representaion of the ed gray tube). This creates cold electricity or radiant energy wich is transmitted to the lights. A little energy makes the spark wich unleashes alot of energyy to power the lights.
the electrode is NOT supposed to arc to the heatsink or spark tube.
Can you post the schematics I’m very interested in this project… How did you can get an High frequency spark gap?
The main circuit is bedini’s. I just added imhoteps modified pc fan and an insulated sphere some capacitors and a spark gap.
